None of the customers who have shopped at EshopOne has ever reported fraudulent use of a credit or debit card as a result of purchases made with us.

Our shopping system uses industry strength encryption techniques. We use Worldpay to process the credit card transactions, to ensure that security is always of the highest Standard.

Credit Card Details

Before you enter your credit card details, you are transferred to a secure server. Protected credit card details are then stored on a secure Worldpay server while the order is processed. After the transaction has been processed all credit card data is destroyed and cannot be recovered. To check this you will see a small gold padlock near the bottom right of your screen when you enter your card details. If you leave the secure site,for example to go back to Free Range Butchers or EshopOne to add something else to your basket, you will see a message warning you that you are about to leave the secure site.

Secure Connection

The web server uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL creates a secure 'layer' between your browser program and your Internet connection. There has never been a breach of security reported using SSL technology. At no point are any credit card transactions sent over an unsecured connection. You can check on this by looking in the address bar, usually found at the top of your browser, the http: will have changed to https:
